Final Review Math / LA

Math Review.

Our math program is customized to each student’s specific needs based on the results of our MCVSD skills assessment. At home, prior to their first session, students complete a diagnostic from which we develop practice materials based on their mistakes. During each session students work on these needs based materials with assistance from our team (max ratio of 6:1). Additional practice problems will be provided as required; we will complete as much work as possible during the allocated time.

This is a very effective device for determining and reviewing concepts that may be forgotten.

Reading Comprehension, Grammar and other MCVSD tested LA skills.

Students will spend a few minutes completing a practice test segment. We will then review problems that students got wrong, explain strategic methods that could have been used to tackle some problems and review requisite skills.

Each session will be unique (different material each session).

Check session availability

Access our reservation system by clicking here and login in with an existing account or create a new one.

You can check availability within the MCVSD FINAL REVIEW tab. Once inside the tab, scroll from week to week and look for the ‘Register (if open)’ button which is associated with a specific date and time and program (Math or LA). Immediately under that button it will display the number of seats reserved and the number of open seats. There is availability if there is an ‘Open’ seat. For example – ‘2 reserved 10 open’ has room, ’12 reserved 0 open’ does not have room.

Purchase sessions

Click here to purchase sessions; these can be used for either math or language arts sessions. To book these session credits you must register for a class by individually selecting which classes you want to join.

Create a schedule
You create your own schedule based on availability.

To make a new reservation:

  • Click on the MCVSD FINAL REVIEW tab.
  • Scroll to the week that you want to make a reservation
  • Look for a slot with an open seat (for example – ‘2 reserved 10 open’ has room, ’12 reserved 0 open’ does not have room).
  • Click on the open slot that fits your needs and confirm the reservation.

Please note – you must follow the process above for every reservation you want to make. You do not sign up for every Friday just by signing up for one Friday.

Adjust your schedule

We have two rescheduling rules – you make all changes online yourself and changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance the session is considered used as the space was not made available for another student.

To cancel an existing reservation:

  • Click the MY INFO tab and then the MY SCHEDULE tab.
  • This will bring up a detail of all existing reservations.
  • Click on the reservation you want to cancel.
  • Late Cancel – means that you will not get credit if cancelled because you are within 24 hours of that reservation.

Check your account balance or current schedule

Under the MY INFO tab, select ACCOUNT to see your session remaining balance or SCHEDULE to see a copy of your current schedule (you can also have your schedule emailed).
